History

THE HISTORY OF EUROFORM 2 2006

At the beginning of the 90’s the Zaffagnini family purchased the production site in Fiorano Modenese, the current headquarters of the Euroform 2-2206 srl company.

In 1992 the main activities of Euroform were the maturing of Parmigiano Reggiano on behalf of third parties, the storage capacity amounted to approximately 70 cheese wheels, and had already been certified as an AGEA centre for private cheese warehousing.

Given the location of the plant in an area historically linked to the meat industry and in view of the family’s experience in the cured meat sector since 1967, immediately after the acquisition the low temperature storage and service activity was expanded to include pork and beef. Back in 1996 the low temperature cold storage was already certified as an AIMA (AGEA) centre for public and private warehousing of meat industry products.
Twenty years ago a line for producing pork rind emulsion for the food industry, based on customised recipes, was introduced.

Since 2016 Euroform 2-2006 srl’s activities involve also the production and sale of cured meats in the historical Faenza plant, in particular Mortadella and meat preparations for the pasta factories.
